There are a lot of hills, and lazy building owners, so when the snow falls the sidewalks turn to a slippery mess when people start walking on them. This leads to people slipping, sliding and one legged twirls down hills. Although I have seen a lot of close calls, I have seen very few falls. It is these close calls that are the Halifax Shuffle.
